About Me
Hello! I'm Jaro.
My whole life I have been drawn to living life fully. For whatever reason, I grew up with gratitude, trust, and optimism, always gravitating towards something different, questioning, moving forward, curious.
I love strategy, building and developing businesses and people. But more than that, I’m passionate about helping others transform their circumstances, grow in wisdom and awareness, and find clarity in the confusion that life sometimes can bring.
A Combination of Heart, Mind, and Resilience
Czech by birth, my name is Jaro. I left my birth country at a young age, fleeing communism with my parents, and found many homes across the world. I still travel extensively and value this highly—different cultures and the undefined reality of new places have shaped my perspective immensely.
I was also fortunate to have two differently oriented parents who gave me a unique foundation. My mother was heart-centered and esoteric, while my father was a doctor—incredibly mind-strong yet incredibly caring about healing others. Both possessed remarkable resilience, starting life multiple times around the world with nothing but ourselves. This combination of heart, mind, and resilience has served me well and informs how I work with others today.
“Everything is interconnected, that the boundaries we perceive are often constructs of our own making.”
Coming from a background of modest means, I initially coveted success in all walks of life—monetary, relationships, creativity. My spiritual journey actually began with aspirations for conventional success, starting with manifestation work and affirmations. But I quickly asked deeper questions: Why should this work? What is the essence behind these practices?
This led me to discover Advaita Vedanta through a teacher who beautifully blended Eastern wisdom with Western practicality. That was over fifteen years ago, and I’m still learning from this teacher today. The path opened me to understanding multiple aspects of life and the recognition that everything is interconnected, that the boundaries we perceive are often constructs of our own making.
“It is important to constantly challenge our belief systems in order to discover what we hold in mind, and what manifests in our life”
Concurrently with my spiritual exploration, my financial career flourished, but my way of being was adding tremendous stress to my body. I suffered increasingly debilitating back problems that traditional treatments could only temporarily manage. Then came a pivotal moment: my back collapsed during a seven-day silent Zen retreat, leaving me unable to move and far from home. Fortunately, an Alexander Technique practitioner was also attending the retreat. We worked together, and the relief was immediate—I was able to complete the retreat peacefully.
This opened an entirely new understanding of the mind-body connection and introduced me to ‘unified field of awareness’ – increasing our conscious awareness, how to pause and consider what our senses are telling us, increasing unity of mind, body, and spirit, and to drop our habitual programming to become our natural selves.
Language, emotions, and embodiment shape our reality
As Viktor Frankl beautifully expressed: “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” This perfectly captures what I’ve discovered through integrating mind (wisdom rather than just knowledge), heart (authentic feelings rather than just emotions), and body (somatic awareness and presence).
I’ve come to recognize the profound importance of how we use language, how we hold our emotions, and how we embody our way of being in the world. These three domains—Language, Emotions, and Embodiment— shape our entire reality and determine the quality of our existence.
As a life learner and observer, I now see that the closer we live our lives in presence and awareness, the lighter, more mobile, centered, and responsive we become to whatever life puts in front of us. This greatly enhances not just the quality of our existence, but our capacity to navigate an ever-changing world with grace and authenticity.
Helping you discover the wisdom that already exists within you
My role is to help you reflect on what is truly going on within yourself—to listen to your reactions, your patterns, your way of being—and release what no longer serves you. Through this process of reflection and release, we create space for choice, freedom, and a more authentic way of living.
Whether you’re seeking to change your current situation, grow through challenges, or simply find more clarity and peace in daily life, this work supports you in discovering the wisdom that already exists within you.
